This particular verse for me is more of a reminder than a do it and you shall die thing. I did not create to judge people but to remind us that our bodies are temples of the Lord. For the unmarked, stay strong and try to keep from tattoos. It may seem popular, but its a long time decision and there is a reason that God gave a command to not do it. For the marked, its a reminder that you are not where you were when you first got it. You are a stronger person in Christ. A soldier that has been through the fire and have the battle scars to prove it.  Be strong and keep living for the Lord.

For a verse written so long ago you cannot get much truer that this. If you value your friendships you should listen to the advise of king Solomon. Gossips break up friendships and Troublemakers are known to start fights. If you are a troublemaker, think before you act and figure out why you are at times the one to start fights when no one around you wanted to be in a fight with you anyway.

Today for me was a bit rough. I lately have been just cruising on air without actually stopping to think what would happen if the air I'm cruising on just ran out. My reason for choosing this verse today is because I felt a bit rejected, by a three year old non the less. My mood has been a bit sour since the incident but I am reminded by this verse that I am going to be rejected by man but in the sight of God (whose opinion matters the most) I am chosen and precious. 1 Peter 2:5 (though my art is based on the verse before) is the true reason why anyone goes through the hardships and struggles that they face each day; you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I am being built up as a spiritual house so that God can find me acceptable and a faithful servant to Him through every struggle that arises.
